I'm a little bit in love with Yardage design... April 27 2014
Yesterday I received some very happy post indeed, all the way from Brisbane, Australia! It was from one of my favourite designer makers Yardage Design.
It was beautifully packaged in pretty glittery blue tissue paper and I just knew as soon as I saw the sweet little gift tag from these guys that there was going to be something very special inside. And this is what it was...
Be still my pink neon loving beating heart... while I scream and totally fall in love with this gorgeous gorgeous gift!
Seriously, I could not love it any more, the colours (my favourites) so carefully chosen especially for me, and the words.. well, what can I say..
TODAY IS THE DAY, make SOMETHING special, are words that I live by every single day! This gift could actually not be anymore perfect.
In fact 'Yardage design' could not be anymore perfect. I connected with Nicole a few months ago when I started Mondays Make it Sewcial and instantly loved everything about her textile work. Its fresh, original, unique and vibrant, its lovingly hand printed and hand stitched using natural fabrics and the quality is simply beautiful.
Here is a small collection of the loveliness for you to fall in love with too...
See what I mean? Stunning isn't it :) every last little lovely piece of it!
The colours, the patterns and the ideas are amazing, this is what true handmade and crafting should be all about, it should be a lovely reflection of the maker, it should be as individual and as unique as you are and you should be able to see and feel the love that goes into making each and every design. Yardage design could not do this any better.
They've totally captured my heart, and I will treasure my gift from them forever. How absolutely perfect does it look hanging in my new craft room?
I love this community of crafters and I love that Make it Sewcial is inspiring and connecting up so many amazing makers from all over the world. I certainly wouldn't have found Yardage Design otherwise and I'm so very happy that I did.
